Anastasia Terranova

Soprano

Anastasia Terranova is an Italian soprano, born in Palermo (Sicily). While finishing her BA in Palermo, in the class of Luca Dordolo and Sonia Prina, with the mark of Magna cum laude, she joined the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel (CH), where she studied with Evelyn Tubb. In 2019, she joined a MA in Amsterdam (NL), where she graduated in the class of Xenia Meijer with the mark of Magna cum laude. Anastasia has sung in prestigious locations, including the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris (FR), the Teatro Massimo of Palermo, and the Schloss-Theater in Schwetzingen (DE), under the direction of renowned conductors such as, Christoph Rousset, Enrico Onofri, Rinaldo Alessandrini and René Jacobs. She has recently rejoined the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, where she completed a post-graduate program in ensemble singing (AVES). She will shortly record two albums with the ensemble Stile Galante.

Valeria Di Biase

Valeria Di Biase is an Italian harpsichordist and pianist. She achieved her Piano Master’s degree at the age of 21 and subsequently honed her expertise as a piano accompanist while beginning her harpsichord studies. Her professional career has seen her regularly perform as both a soloist and accompanist. Her lifelong involvement in choral activities as a soprano and pianist has led to participation in numerous international competitions and the recording of contemporary music CDs.
In 2019, Valeria relocated to the Netherlands, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Harpsichord at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. Her studies have been enriched through lessons and masterclasses with renowned artists such as Ton Koopman, Siebe Henstra, and Fabio Bonizzoni, Patrick Ayrton.
In addition to her musical studies, she holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering and serves as a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University.

Isaline Leloup

Viennese bass, double bass, violone

Isaline is an early music bass player specialized in the Viennese bass. She realised her first album in May 2021. After receiving her master's degree in modern double bass at the ROyal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, she studied the classical and romantic repertoire of the historical double bass. She joined a master's program with the members of the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées in partnership with the Poitiers University. She studied with David Sinclair at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (CH) where she obtained her Master in Spezialisierter Musikalischer Performance in 2019. Now she continues to work with Margaret Urquhart at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. She has performed in several historical ensembles such as Anima Eterna Brugge, Ensemble Ausonia, Il Gardellino, Les Agrémens, Insula Orchestra, La Chambre Philharmonique. She is also principal double bass in the BOHO Strings Orchestra. As a chamber musician, she regularly collaborates with the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.

Recorder - Percussion - Singer

Emile ter Schegget’s musical education started at Bordeaux’s Conservatory with Cécile Orsini, before entering the prestigious Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in the class of Conrad Steinmann. He continued his studies at Utrecht Conservatory with Heiko ter Schegget, developing a special interest in historical instruments, leading him to study the craftmanship of building recorders. Emile performs music from the Medieval times up until the late Baroque period and Contemporary music throughout Europe as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles. In 2020, Emile won various prizes at the Blockflötenfestival Nordhorn and the Tel Aviv Recorder Festival, including one in collaboration with harpsichordist Tim Veldman, with whom he regularly performs unknown repertoires. In addition to his performing career, Emile teaches at Amphion Muziekschool in Doetinchem, Vrijdag Muziekschool in Groningen and Kaliber Kunstenschool in Enschede.
